Richard W. Greene

He is preceded in death by his brother Heyward Greene, sisters, Lois Richards, and Frances Hensley of Greenville His survivors include wife, Marilyn June Greene, a sister Catherine (Furman) Brannon of Clayton, North Carolina, a son Richard W. Greene (Mary) of Tucson, Arizona, a daughter, Brenda Henderson (Charles) who lives in Magnolia, TX, son Charles Shrubshall of San Antonio, TX, a step-granddaughter, Kristin Schroeder of San Antonio, TX and step-grandson Robert Martinez of Ulvalde, TX. There are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.

A Veteran of WWII, Richard lived the most of his life in the San Antonio area. As a car wholesaler he traveled throughout the midwest and southeast of Texas. Richard was an avid fisherman who frequently traveled to the coast to fish off-shore.

Visitation will be from 10-11:00 am on Saturday, October 23, 2010 in the Sunset Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am in the Chapel.
