SFC Richard Lee Mathews, US Army, age 35, of San Antonio, died Thursday, June 9, 2005.
Schatz will be remembered as a loving, devoted husband and father. He was a gun collector, and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
SFC Mathews was a proud military man who served his country honorably for over eighteen years.
Survivors: wife, Melanie Mathews; children, Brian Mathews and Jessieca Mathews all of San Antonio, TX; parents, Oren and Helga Mathews, Indiana; one brother and one sister.
