Rigmor "Betty" Liffick

Rigmor “Betty” Liffick, born April 14, 1923 in St. Croix, entered into eternal rest on December 28, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 89. Her childhood was certainly idyllic, having grown up in the Virgin Islands. Betty lived a majority of her life in Arizona, supporting and raising her two boys by herself. She went back to college later in life, earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts. Although Betty was faced with numerous health challenges, she always overcame them on her own, and she never wavered from being the strong, independent spirit her family so dearly loved. She moved to Texas and lived here until her passing. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Orville Liffick, parents Niels and Valberg (Andreson) Christofferson, Sister Maggie, and brother Valdemar. She is survived by her brother Chris, sister Astrid, brother Butch, sons Larry Cramer and Gary Cramer, granddaughter Lorie Kempen, grandson Michael Cramer, great-grandchildren Kylie Patterson and Kaitlyn Kempen, and numerous loving extended family members and friends. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 from 6-9 pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX, 78218. A Funeral Service will take place at 10 am on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
