Chip, we have been out of town and returned to learn of your loss. So sorry not to have been here to attend the service on Monday. Dear Jacki and Chip: I can just imagine sweet Bob playing Spite and Malice with Cally and Tony now! 
 Bob was such a dear and thoughtful friend to all the Maessen's - especially to me throughout my high school and college years. His kind Naval recommendation letter was appreciated 30 years ago when I was considering the military. 
 Thank you, Bob, for your lovely party for our wedding guests in 1975. Lucky me -- I married a man as fine as you!

Jackie & Chip - I feel like I have lost part of my family. Bob was always there for Mother & me. When Daddy died, it was Bob who helped us through the arrangements. I will never forget his kindness. A kind and loving man, Mr. Buckley treated everyone with respect. My mother worked with him for many years at Frost Bank. He made her feel important and welcome as she had recently moved to San Antonio, Texas. Growing up, I remember the joy my mother expressed not in words of going to work in the trust department. I remember Mr. Buckley's warm smile as he greeted me when I'd visit my mother at work. His presence and heart felt wishes of happiness at my wedding meant a lot to me and my family. He was not just a co-worker, Mr. Buckley was a friend and I'd imagine a friend to everyone. In loving memory,

Dear Jacki, Words cannot expres what a loss this is to us. Bob was an exceptional man. I will miss his laugh and his Thursday visits where he told me to get back to work so the stock prices would go back up. I'll miss talking with the best boss I've ever had. Mr. Buckley will be missed very much he was a very sweet man, I work at Frost Bank but never under him when I would see him he always had a smile on his face and always said hello. I remember him going to lunch at the Milam just about everyday. He will be missed very much.

In recent years there were many miles 
between San Antonio and Seattle but the 
Buckleys' always will remain my San Antonio Family. I was so fortunate to be included in Bob's Sat. A.M. "routines" by my shop and most recently via e-mail. I guess this is our last message until Jacki continues the tradition. You are rememberded always. Love to all the Family.

The way that Bob touched our family, and they way that he was a memeber of that family spoke volumes of the man that he was. Bob will always be loved as a member of the Walker/Blackmer family. Michael

Mrs Buckley, I am Michael Blackmer's fiance. I had the pleasure of meeting you and your husband when you hosted the brunch after Alice Walker's funeral. The kindness and hospitality exhibited by you and your husband is something I will never forget. I am very saddened to hear of your loss, but I am very glad that I had the pleasure or meeting both him and you.
