Robert Ervin Charbonneau, age 73, passed away February 28, 2011 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on August 27, 1937 in Schedectady, New York to Ervin and Ernestine Charbonnaeu. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Marie Chapman. He is survived by his wife Gloria Rodriguez Charbonneau. They were married for 48 years. He also has two sons, Michael Charbonneau and his wife Fay, Robert Charbonneau and his wife Jackie; grandchildren, Stephanie, Tonya, Michael, Melisa and Brianna; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Joan Myer, Teresa Merritt and husband Norman; brother, Fred Charbonneau; brother-in-law, Fernando G. Rodriguez. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera Road on Sunday, March 13, 2011 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Monday, March 14, 2011 at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 5919 Ingram Road with Rev. Carl Frisch officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Air Force military honors.
