His professional career spanned over three decades as a licensed insurance specialist and financial advisor. Robert's exceptional skills and dedication to his field earned him recognition as a leader, and he generously shared his wisdom by mentoring other insurance sales professionals.
He is survived by a loving family who will forever cherish his memory: his spouse Selia Espinoza; his children, Carlos Gonzales, Robert Espinoza Jr., and Monica Montoya; and a legacy that extends through his grandchildren, who were the joy of his life. Robert's presence as a family patriarch was marked by his kind, faith-filled, and selfless nature.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Robert was a man of many interests and talents. He found solace and joy in the simple pleasure of tending to his garden, where he cultivated an array of flowers, trees, herbs, and occasionally vegetables. His love for cooking was renowned, especially his signature dishes of Spanish rice and beans, which he shared with gusto at family gatherings. Robert was not only a great cook but also an excellent teacher who took every opportunity to impart his culinary skills to others.
Robert's faith played a central role in his life. A committed parishioner of St. Anthony Mary Claret Catholic Church, he served the congregation as a Lector, contributed his time to multiple Men's Acts Retreats, and was a dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus. His involvement with the church extended to serving on the Finance Committee, coaching CYO Baseball, and helping introduce the Alpha Ministry to his parish.
His love for his community was matched only by his love for his grandchildren. Robert treasured every moment spent playing with them, listening to music, and supporting their various sports and interests. His grandchildren will remember him as a beacon of love and guidance, a role he embraced with every fiber of his being.
The loss of Robert F. Espinoza leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him. However, his legacy of kindness, unwavering faith, and selflessness will continue to inspire and guide us. A Memorial Rosary will take place on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony Mary Claret Catholic Church. A Memorial Mass will immediately follow in at 11:30 AM. A Memorial Interment will follow on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Resurrection Cemetery at Cordi-Marian.
