CDR Robert Houston Finlayson USNR RET. age 78, passed away on June 14. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jeanne;his daughter Lori Cox husband John, their children Dayna, Alycia, and Cody; and his son, Robert Finlayson Jr., wife Jereen, and their children Robyn, Samantha, and Zachary of Fargo, MI. Born in San Francisco, he was a graduate of Lowell H.S. and the University of Southern California.He served his country as a Navy combat pilot in both WWII and Korea and worked as an aerospace engineer as a civilian. Bob enjoyed golf, bridge, bowling, and dancing. He will be remembered by his family as a kind, gentle man, a devoted husband and loving father.Graveside services with Military Honors will be on Tuesday, 9:45 A.M. at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. The Rev. Dr. Calvin Reynolds officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
