· he was a Redskins fan
· he was a fan of music:
— he had a favorite band: AC/DC and he saw them many times in concert, but he saw loads of bands in concert as well as at la semana
— he enjoyed a wide range of music and was one of the few who liked the Stones and the Beetles
· he became a voracious reader which began with bargains at the half-price bookstore he grew to appreciate the less ‘accumulation’ of an e-reader where he could get his hands on more books
· he was also a fan of the ‘air show’ and his first one was just before his second birthday over the years he managed to get the autographs of many teams
· he was a huge fan of American Muscle, but he had also developed an affinity for slick, sleek, sexy, growly high-performance machines (and had a library ‘s worth of books, manuals, etc. to support these)
· although he never personally served in our military, he was a great supporter of our
men and women who honor us by answering the call. He also had tremendous
respect for first responders and their K9 partners *
· while he’s a true son of the Old Dominion, born in the commonwealth of Virginia, I
think he truly felt at home in and among the mountains of Utah; one of his favorite
places where he could truly relax and just, be **
