Robin was my best friend through elementary school and a good friend as we started college. I came across her obituary only today, by accident. I am glad to know she had a family and hope she was happy through all those years. I have thought of her often but didn't find her by searching her maiden name. I would love to know more about her life.

Finding Robin was like finding part of myself I didn't know I even had. Conversely, losing Robin, at least in the form in which I knew her, is a huge loss, and one I am only slowly working through... My memories are of Robin cooking for crowds at the holidays. I am a teacher, too, so Robin has been such an inspiration to me in my teaching. We will miss her always. We were so saddened to hear of Morah Robin's passing. She was a truly great woman, full of joy and real love of life. We played together and with my sister Marilyn, as sisters and shared our hopes and dreams and thoughts in safe privacy and loving empathy and trust. I remember that we were invited to play in your parents' Greatneck home and you, in my parents' home in Kew Gardens. 
 You always behaved as an honorable 
adult. You have so much to give. You found your loving place as David's wife 
and mother to your three wonderful 
sons, and grandsons and their spouses. 
 You are a natural teacher and all 
you gave to your young students at Lubavitch of South Texas, will stay with them for the rest of their lives. Everyone your life and love touched are better for your life and interactions. We are all better for knowing and loving you and being love by you.

 I told my mother Esther, who is your Mom Cecelia's cousin the sad and shocking news. She also remembers you 
as a loving, bright ane happily smiling 
sweet child. She remembers us all playing games together. It was not easy to be an only child in the 40's 
because the games were made for more than one child to play them. She is

Dear Schneiderman family, 
We cannot even begin to tell you how much we love and will miss your wonderful mother and wife. She meant the world to our children Bailey and Aaron. Both adored her and are missing her terribly. She was a wonderful friend to me and shared chid rearing stories and advice always. Her recommendations for books on the subject were always timely and very appreciated. My parenting still echoes her advice to let them suffer the natural consequences of their actions. She was a gem and I will miss her dearly. My wish is that time will help you to feel less pain for this tremendous loss and that you will be left with wonderful memories of this incredible woman. Throughout our lives we meet and make friends who laugh with us, cry with us, support us and above all love us. 
Robin you and your family are are all that to us. We cherish our time together and thank our heavenly father that we were brought together. 
Robin we love you and miss you

Robin and I met at Fort G.G. Meade in 1985. We were able to start an alternative Wives Club Luncheon group for Moms and Tots. Potluck. She was always happiest when facilitating a group ... especially when young children were involved. Her boys were the kind of young people you always hope that you are going to be encountering. They were always welcome to come back. Through every move and every separation we always picked up the threads of our lives exactly where they had left off. Robin was a comfortable and comforting person. Always busy but never too busy to lend an ear, or a shoulder, or to pause for a coffee. She was so proud of, and pleased with, her men, David, George, Jason, and Matthew and their accomplishments. Adding a daughter and more children to her family through George's wife Elizabeth and their beautiful young family ... so dear to her heart. It has been an honor and a blessing to have been with her in this life for so long. She will be sorely missed and deeply mourned.

Robin was my cousin. Although we did not keep in touch as adults, I have wonderful childhood memories of her and her family at their home on Long Island. I am so very sorry to hear of Robin's passing. My deepest condolences are extended to her husband, children, and grandchildren.

I was so saddened to hear about Mora Robin. she was a teacher to all 3 of my grandchildren. she even had one of them for two years in a row! she was such a wonderful influence on them. she taught them about responsiblity, she emphasized their jewish values and she made them feel special. it was always a pleasure to visit her class and i did so many, many times. she invariably made me feel welcome. i will miss seeing her smiling face and i am sorry for the many jewish children who will not have the gift of being in one of her classes. i send my heartfelt sympathy to her family. carol sugarman

Dearest Morah Robin, we have been so blessed to have had you and your family in our lives. You were my mentor for teaching and guidance counselor for parenting but most important a loyal and caring friend. My fondest memories will be of dining in your Sukkah, driving to Austin to hear Matthew play and making ice cream with the boys in your kitchen. We love you. David still sleeps with the blankets you lovingly repaired for him 3 years ago-they will be even more special now.

A wonderful woman and a great teacher. I will miss her very much.

Robin will be remembered by me smiling & sitting in her apple tree reading a book. I spent my first "sleep over" at her home. She was smart, a bundle of energy filled with love,wonder, and adventure. I will miss my dear cousin. Our love and deep sympathy is shared with David and their children.

Robin was a rare "heart friend", someone who always seemed to understand what words could not convey. We shared a name, a birthday and a love of life. May her name be a blessing for her children and grandchildren. She will be missed.

Our prayers are with you David and your boys, but please take comfort in the fact that Robin touched so many people and we are all better people for having known her.
