Loving husband and father, Rudy T. Elizondo passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2011. He was born on November 12, 1953 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Leocadio and Irene Trevino Elizondo. Rudy will be deeply missed by his wife of 37 years, Veronica Lorraine Elizondo; sons, Rudy Elizondo and wife Elizabeth, Karlos Elizondo and wife Madeline. Rudy was excitedly looking forward to the birth of his first grandchild, Aldo Rodolfo Elizondo, in October. Other surviving family members include sisters, Antonia Elizondo and Juanita Cruz, and several extended family members. Rudy leaves behind a legacy of love, patience and selflessness with an unending dedication to his family. The visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 6:00 P.M. followed by the Rosary at 7:00 P.M. at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Rd. The funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Brigid’s Catholic Church, 6907 Kitchener Rd. The interment will follow at Mission Burial Park North.
