DUTY BOUND! Throughout his life, in the Navy, as a husband, father, grandfather, son / brother-in-law, employee, landlord, neighbor, with friends, or with pure acquaintances, Rodolfo Meyers was “duty bound”. Committed to the end, there were few challenges where he looked the other way.
Unafraid, fearless, and unapologetic, Rodolfo was steadfast in everything he pursued. A physically strong and agile man, Dad’s complexities were hard to understand, particularly with his gruff, and stubborn approaches. He often looked ahead to potential obstacles and would push, prod, and weave his way through until he was satisfied that “his” will was done.
Despite all this, in the end, Dad was still OUR Dad, who we will miss each and every day. As he rides into the sunset to be with his love, our Mom, Mary Jane, rest assured that he will want to rearrange the stars so that we will have a better view of heaven… We Love You Dad!
