Roger Dale Alexander

Roger was born in Sinton, Texas to Charles and Frances Alexander on July 1, 1948. He was married to Julia Boswell on October 13, 1969. He was a veteran of the Marine Corp. serving from 1968 to 1978, working as a helicopter electronic technician. He received medals for Marksman and Sharpshooter.

Roger is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Frances Alexander, sister, Juanita Rose Smith, and brothers John Eugene, Gerald William, and Erin Alexander.

Roger is survived by wife Julia, sons John Allen and Timothy Scott Alexander; grandchildren Taylor Danielle Barber and Tyson Dean Alexander.

A visitation for Roger will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78238. A prayer service will occur Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 4:00 PM, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78238 with Pastor Anthony Lamb officiating. A committal service will occur on Monday, March 10, 2025 at 11:15 AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209 with military honors.
