

Ronald served his country in the U.S. Army earning both the Army Commendation Medal and Meritorious Service Medal before retiring after 27 years of service and achieving the rank of Master Sergeant. After retiring he continued to serve his country for another 20 years as a member of the Civil Service where he held many different positions before retiring for a second time. He was an active member of the American Legion Post 592 for 18 years and the VFW.
Ronald was preceded in death by, his dear wife, Maria L. Kenneady, in 2008. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Lillian and Eudis Kennedy; brothers, David Kennedy and Rodney Kennedy; and niece, Margaret.
He is survived by his son Dr. Arjay Kenneady, and his wife Barbara; daughters, Lisa Kenneady and her husband David González; Michelle Kenneady; and Kelly King and her husband, Mike; sister Faye Kennedy; many nieces and nephews. Ronald is also survived by his five loving grandchildren, Emily and Sofia Gonzalez, Maricela Espinoza, Ava Johnson and Emerson King.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Charities or VFW.
A committal service with Army Honors for MSG Kenneady service will be held on Monday, February 27, 2023, at 1:15 p.m. at Shelter #2 inside Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd.
