Ronald Mark Posey

Ronald Mark Posey was born Bartlesville, OK to Patricia and RL Posey on September 2nd, 1953. He went to school at Manzano High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He married Nancy Posey on August 23rd, 1985 in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from New Mexico State University. He worked as a Communications Electrical Engineer for United States Air Force for 37 years. He graduated from Webster University and University of San Antonio with Master’s Degrees in Management and Communications. He graduated from Ashford University with a Doctorate in Computer and Communications Engineering. He was a veteran serving in the United States Air Force and was awarded Meritorious Service Medal. He was involved in Wounded Warriors, VFW, American Cancer Society, Saint Jude and San Antonio Road Runners. He was an Eagle Scout and participated in over 20 marathons as an avid runner.

Ronald Mark Posey is preceded in death by his parents Patricia and RL Posey and his youngest sister Nina Posey.

Ronald Mark Posey is survived by his wife, Nancy Posey, his sons Nathan (Ashley) Posey, Jason (Rebecca) Posey and their children, Timothy, Maximus, Wyatt, Emma and Hannah Posey, his sisters Gayle (Buster) Hampton, Catherine (Alan) Hendrickson, his brothers Dean (Diana) Posey, Russel (Michelle) Posey.

Funeral services will be held 10am on Wednesday July 16th, 2025 at Northwest Sunset Funeral Home with the Dean Posey of Trinity United Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Northwest Sunset Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, Ronald requested contributions be made to Wounded Warriors, VFW, American Cancer Society, Saint Jude and Autism Speaks.
