

Ronald Eugene Walby, a resident of New Caney, Texas passed away of natural causes on Wednesday May 31, 2017 at the age of 79 years. He was born in Chillicothe, Missouri to Clarence and Arlene (Norman) Walby on April 8, 1938. He was the oldest of six siblings who were Carol, Beverly, Mary Grace, Bobby (Clarence Jr) and then Gary. Ronald married Sondra Jean Austin (deceased) on February 8, 1958; he later remarried Geneva Mae Manners (deceased) on April 30, 1988. Ronald joined the US Army at the age of 17 years and then retired at the age of 40 years old in 1978. He furthered his education while in the Army. After retiring he then became employed by LDS (Long Distant Services) where he was a computer programmer. While employed at LDS he started his own company called Data Masters, which did the billing for LDS along with other independent telephone companies back then. Ronald (Ronnie) enjoyed tinkering with computers, listening to ole time country music but most of all he loved fishing and occasionally hunting.
Ronald Walby is preceded in death by both his parents Clarence and Arlene Walby, stepdad Donovan Sallee, a sister Carol Kelley, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is survived by his daughter, Susan (Bill) Parker, stepson Michael T. Kosar; grandchildren, William G. Parker Jr (Billy), Matthew A Parker, Kya E. Parker, Emily Kosar, Rafael S Rodriguez, Kara Kosar, Karissa Kosar; great grandchildren, Armin Parker, Ariyahn Parker, Kayden Altimore, Kylie Altimore; sisters, Beverly (Jim) Matney, Mary (Danny) Drozd; brothers, Clarence (Bobby) Walby Jr., Gary Walby along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
