As a clarinetist, he played for ten years in the San Antonio Symphony. As a clarinet teacher, he graduated many successful young and older players.
He loved chamber music and performed many chamber music concerts.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jean H. White; sisters: Marilyn Stowell and her husband, Robert; and Claudia Harding all of Ellensburg, Washington; along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
