Rosa R. Gutierrez born on October 8, 1935 in Goliad, Texas went to be with the Lord on October 17, 2012 at the age of 77. Mrs. Gutierrez is survived by her children Juan Daniel, Sara Chapa, Irene Garza, Anna Marie Gutierrez, Diana Maltos, Linda Flores, Rose Mary Melchor; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister Elisa Munoz. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2012 followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass Friday, October 19, 2012 at St. Bonaventure’s Catholic Church. Interment to follow at First Memorial Park.
