Russell Walton

Russell Walton of San Antonio, Texas passed away on April 17th, 2023. Russel was born in Kentucky on January 22rd, 1936. On October 5th, 1957 Russell married the love of his life Kathy, they loved and cherished each other until Kathy passed on February 24th, 2018. Russell proudly served in the United States Air Force from September 15th, 1953 until he retired as a Master Sargent on January 31st, 1977 at which time he continued to serve his country as a civil servant from 1977 until he retired in 1990’s. Russells passions included spending time with his family and going on vacations with his wife Kathy. He also enjoyed shopping and having fun at the casino’s. Russell is survived by his daughters Linda Nemeth and Terry Walton, and grandchildren Christopher Coderre, Cristey Gallegos, Tiffany Jameson, David Nemeth II and Jennifer Babb, and great grandchild Christopher Coderre Jr. Russell is proceeded by his parents. Florence and Ernest, his brother Owen,his wife Kathy and their beloved son Rusty who passed on August 11th, 2013

A visitation for Russell will be held Tuesday, April 25, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at 0251 - Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum 2 Chapel, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, April 25, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. A committal service will occur Tuesday, April 25, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Sunset Memorial Park, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218.
