Santiago Ramirez

Santiago G. Ramirez was born in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico on July 25, 1924 and went to be with the Lord March 30, 2011. He resided in San Antonio the majority of his life and worked as an iron worker & built many buildings in san Antonio.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Irene G. Ramirez. He is survived by her granddaughters Betty J. Ramos-Dobry & spouse Bill, Mary Ann Rios, Linda Witherspoon, David Gomez & spouse Rachel, stepdaughter Mary Jane Ybarra - Zimmerle, great grandchildren, Dr. David Ramos, Ruben Rios Jr., Rene Rios, Dominic Gomez, Ines Gomez, and Karen Malone and sisters Maria De Los Angels Ramirez, Ernestina Ramirez, and Vicenta Ramirez, numerous nieces, and nephews . Special thanks to Chilo Y Roberto. A Visitation will begin, Friday, April 1, 2011, 3:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home, Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 8:30 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. mass to be celebrated at Little Flower Catholic Church with interment to follow in San Fernando Cemetery #2.
