Mrs. Campbell was born January 26, 1937 in Kansas City, Kansas to Russell and Wilma Stewart. She graduated from Kansas University with a degree in Nursing.
She was also an accomplished magazine writer and painter. She traveled extensively as the wife of Air Force Colonel, Jene D. Campbell and privately, visiting Russia twice and living several years in Italy.
She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. A daughter, Alexandra Campbell and husband, Col. Jene Campbell preceded Mrs. Campbell in death. She is survived by her two loving sons, SFC Russell Campbell of Killeen, Texas and Colin Campbell of Los Angeles, CA; and sister, Gail Brown of Kerrville, Texas
