
She was a native of Monroe, LA, having attended Monroe City Schools. She graduated from Neville High School in 1969 with honors and Magna Cum Laude from U.L.M. School of Pharmacy in 1974.
Sally was a resident of Texas since right after graduating from Pharmacy School, living first in Houston and then settling in San Antonio in 1985.
She worked for the Neurology Center of San Antonio as the Clinical Pharmacy Manager for a number of years.
Sally had in the past been quite the advocate for the Juvenile Diabetes Association and the Multiple Sclerosis Association.
She was an active member of Northern Hills U.M.C. and the Cycling Crusaders.
Sally was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Gilley; and her parents, Merlin and Mary Elizabeth Milstead.
She leaves behind to mourn her passing her daughters, Erin Toscano and husband Rick, Meredith DaSilva and husband Wayne; her son, Ryan Gilley and wife, Mary; five granddaughters, Mercedes, Allayna, Ava, Savannah, and Bella; sisters, Mary Lee Moeller and husband Jimmy of Bastrop, LA, Karen Rao and husband Tom of Slidell, LA; numerous nieces and nephews; aunts, Gene Boyd of Harrisonburg, LA, and Flossie Kester of Orange Park, FL; and numerous cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association; Multiple Sclerosis Association or Cancer Therapy and Research Center.
