She was amazing... we'd fall asleep together on skype many nights in a row. i was planning on moving to her..... she taught me a lot musically. suddenly she disappeared & it was super painful... i tried to contact family but they were evilly biased......

I have a few memories of Sarah I will never forget.  A group of us were hanging out, and I was playing guitar and she started to make up a song to some random chords I  was playing and she sang some amazing vocals.  We played music like that for half an hour or so, and it was so fun, because Sarah, when she was in to the music she was creating, she was in a different place.  I am not very good at the guitar, but with her we sounded awesome.  That's a special memory to me.

Recently, I was going through my journal and I uncovered a conversation with Sarah that I had forgotten.  I was struggling with a recent break-up, and felt like a tremendous failure and also felt that I couldn't pick myself up.  She came and talked to me, and empathized and reassured me.  It meant so much to have someone to look out for me during a time I felt I wasn't enough, and felt that I couldn't get things right.  I'll always be grateful for that.  



When I think of our years in San Antonio, I will always be grateful for our time spent with your family and enjoying the special  friendship of our sweet little girls. Our play dates and mother daughter outings will always hold a special place in our hearts.  Sarah was always full of energy and fun! Spending time with Sarah involved lots of laughter, adventure, silliness and imagination.  Our girls were so blessed to have her and Olivia as a special part of their lives during their childhood.  Although they didn't communicate much as teenagers and young adults, I know that the bonds they created as children will always bring back happy and thoughtful memories for us All.  We are so grateful for Sweet Sarah and your Family.  Please know that our Thoughts and Prayers continue to be with you...

One of my favorite memories of Sarah Grace was actually probably my first memory of her. It was among my first days at Health Careers and I was in Ms. Pina's class and she was walking down the aisle of desks and tripped. And as she descended she yelled out I'm falling!. I've never heard anyone comment on their falling mid-fall and it was the funniest thing ever! (She was okay)
She was always the friendliest, smiliest person in the room and if you ever met her, you were her friend. I am lucky I got to know her for the time I did. Rest in peace, SG.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time on the loss of your daughter, sister, sister-in-law and aunt.

I can still remember how contagious Sarah's laugh was.  I remember relaxing in her swimming pool and spending late nights with her and our friends. I remember watching catfish the movie at her house for the first time, and now whenever i see anything catfish i think of her and laugh. I remember her sweet vocals, her funky style and her bright spirit and so much more. I know we didnt keep in touch much after highschool, but it really does say a lot about a person when you only have great things to say about them. I pray for your loving family and i will look for you in the sky...

Sweet Sarah!  To me you will always be that little girl that I picked up after school, had movie nights with, helped with your homework, and shared so many laughs with!  I will never forget that sweet face and smile and how you lit up the room when you walked in.  We had so many adventures together when you were little and I will always hold those close to my heart!  I will never forget you and you will live on through your sweet family!  Until we meet again sweet Sarah!  Love you lots!

Sarah, I only met you once in this life and I'm so glad I was able to have you in my home. Olivia misses and loves you so very much. I don't know why you chose to be my angel, but I thank you. Rest in power.

Whenever I think of Sarah or any member of the Prestidge family I am filled with gratitude that I was blessed to know all of you. Ryan and I were such young parents back when we would stay with Aaron Sarah and Olivia and we looked up to you as examples of how we wanted to parent and hoped our kids would be as awesome as yours! We are so heartbroken over your loss. What an amazing girl gone all too soon. Sarah touched so many lives for good and she won't be forgotten. She was so fun to hang out with and so easy to chat with. To know Sarah is to love Sarah. We send our love and lots of hugs and prayers and hope to see you all again someday. Families ARE forever. ❤

Sarah was another sister for me and I've admired her my entire life. One time, she convinced me that she had invented the number 8 and that was absolutely incredible to me.  However, as much as I admire Sarah for her ability to make up numbers, I admire her courage and strength and kindness so much more. I was blessed to know her and I know she continues to bless those around her now.

I have known Sarah since she was a toddler, and to know Sarah is to love her.  She has always had a light inside her that shines in her countenance.  As I am writing this, I am picturing her face and her smile, and it makes me smile,just remembering her.  And even though I am sad that she is gone from our presence for this lifetime, I am so happy to know her.  She always emitted joy to those around her, and I am sure that she is doing to same to those around her now.

Sarah was absolutely amazing. She played a huge role in my conversion to the LDS chuch. She always attended my lessons and would make sure I felt welcome at church activities. She was incredibly kind and always made sure she knew what was happening in my life. She has changed my life for good.

Sarah Grace Prestidge was and is my cousin's best friend and, luckily, I was and am close enough with that cousin to have been introduced to Sarah. Sometimes, I felt alienated by my cousin's friends when I was young but Sarah was different. She immediately treated me like I was part of the group. I have never forgotten how that made me feel. Sarah had a way of making everyone else feel special even though she in my mind was truly the special one. Also she acted like this super cool older sister to me even though she barely knew me. Thank you Sarah, for being brave enough to befriend and stand up for the little guys. You were so genuine, talented, and beautifully unique. I will never forget you.

Sarah was such an light to all those she came in contact with. I always loved when she came to our family gatherings, she was so much fun to be around! I knew her through Celina and I remember one time we had a sleepover and we prank called a friend of mine and Sarah was doing all of her funny accents during the call. She was so good at impersonating accents! Sarah was a lot of fun to be around and she'll be greatly missed!

I didn't know Sarah, but I could tell just how good of a person she was by reading about her and hearing all the wonderful stories of her by her sister Olivia who was my companion on my mission. All will be well because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ! You are in my thoughts and prayers!

I met Sarah at an open mic at the Velour in Provo, UT my freshman year of college in 2010. I remember enjoying her beautiful voice and songwriting during her set. I am not the most social of people, but I remember how easy and fun it was to talk to Sarah. She was a great friend and so kind and giving to everyone she met.

I can't believe you're gone. I always told my husband that I wanted our daughters to grow up to be as kind as you are. We didn't talk often and especially not after high school and it's killing me to know that I never thanked you for encouraging me to apply to the church universities. I didn't have a lot of encouragement in my ward to go to a BYU school and I also didn't have anyone to tell me that it wasn't some distant unattainable goal until you came along. You never knew the role you played in my journey back to Heavenly Father and towards having an eternal family. Without you telling me that I should go to BYU and that it was actually affordable, I wouldn't have the life that I have now. I needed that. You'll always be the person that gave me the encouragement I wasn't given. Thank you. <3

I met Sarah in San Antonio at an Open Mic Night. She performed a few songs and captivated the room. I remember thinking how everything she said came from such a real place. We only met once but she made an impression on me that has lasted. I'm very sorry for your loss.

Sarah, I only knew you for a short time but within that time, you have inspired me. Your attitude, your smile, your voice. It's all that I have Locked in my memories of you. I know that Heavenly Father loves you so much and we will all see one another in the next life. Stay beautiful angel.

We were so sorry to here of Sarah Grace's passing.  We didn't know her as an adult, but the loved the opportunities we had to take care of your kids when you were away. We were pregnant the first time we stayed with your kids and thought it would be great to have a family like yours, except we would have 2 girls first and then 2 boys.  Sarah was even one of our favorite names, but we quickly learned that Sarah and Tara just sound to similar for the same house. When we learned we were having a boy Sarah Grace and Olivia actually suggested the name Spencer. Mostly, I remember that each of your children would always include the phrase "please help us be kind" in their prayers.  Every family has little phrases that end up as standard parts of their prayers and I think your constant asking to be kind really says a lot about the Prestige family.

Sarah, our Sarita, what can be said that has not already been said about you, someone as beloved as you, someone as gracious as you and as loving as you, what else can be said? You left much too soon, you gave all you had to give, you positively touched everyone around you, you loved intensely, you lived joyously, you felt deeply, you mourned for those who were hurt, you graced us with lovely music, you smiled unceasingly even when you were hurting, you protected the downtrodden, you loyally defended those who were mistreated, you brought so much joy to your family and loved ones and then you finished your work on this earth. You loved my Nina and were aware of her pain and for that I will always love you. I remember sometimes, Sarah, you were the only one who would visit her in the hospital on the many lonely days she spent there. As I write this, I shed tears of gratitude for your kindness but feel sorrow, also, because you aren't here anymore so I can thank you with a loving hug. But I will someday. We will all be together again and how joyful will be that reunion. For now, know that you are loved and will never be forgotten until we meet again. Hasta vernos, para siempre Dios este con voz.

I remember having class with you at Braun station, hanging out at your house, and going yo birthday parties.I just opened my yearbook and saw you had signed it, "Sarah grace-you're great". I remember seeing you again in high school and talking about how much our lives had changed. Even though we hadn't kept in touch that much, I will always remember and treasure you as a great childhood friend. My sincere condolences to your family. I'm having trouble understanding how a life could end so abruptly.

I've known Sarah for a long time now. I remember playing with her and Lorna at the mother-daughter camp-outs when we were young. I think I really started to absolutely love her in the most recent years. Olivia was on her mission and Sarah and I became close friends. I think she missed her sister so much that the timing of our friendship was even more special to her and I. We spent a lot of time tubing down the river one summer. We went almost every Friday night. I had a huge crush on a boy, who is now my husband, and she had a huge part in our beginning relationship. We would tube the river with a big group of people from the singles ward but ALWAYS ended up breaking off into our own threesome.. me, Sarah and Kim. We would sing, we'd laugh, we would have meaningful conversations about life and sometimes we would just be silent for a while. We both felt comfortable just being by each other in complete silence.
I remember Kim inviting me over to watch a movie, and I liked him so much that I was too nervous to go alone so I invited Sarah. He was really confused that I invited another girl on our first unofficial date but Sarah made what would've been an uncomfortable situation for me, easy and fun. She was always the girl to do that.

To my friend, I love you, and I am grateful for the sisterhood we developed. You're truly one of the most special women I've ever known.

Dear Prestidge Family,
I am so sorry and deeply sadden to hear of Sarah's passing. I remember when Sarah was born and thinking Sarah Grace was such a beautiful name to match a beautiful baby. When Sarah was a baby and toddler I was privileged to spend quite a bit of time with her as neighbor and babysitter. That sweet little blondie gave me a run for my money, but I loved and adored her lively spirit. Like most littles, she would have me read the same books, sing the same songs, and played the same games over and over and over. We loved our babysitting routine and it is a fond memory for me. Prayers, hugs, and thoughts for you all at this time.

One of my favorite memories of Sarah was at the Mother/Daughter camp out at Gardner State Park. Sarah was probably 11 or 12. Me, Lauren Aldean, Olivia and Sarah were swimming in the river and talking. And Sarah and Olivia were goofing around with each other singing "Message in a Bottle" by Police, and doing some little weird dance move to it. And I remember thinking how cool they both were because they had good taste in music! And Sarah was telling us how she was avoiding some girls because they kept calling her "coolio", because, you know, they thought she was cool and I think she was embarrassed by it. So whenever I'd see Sarah, I'd call her coolio. It's a pretty random memory, but it's one of my favorite ones that I have of Sarah. She was so much fun to be around and was always nice to Kevin. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed!

My heart goes out to all of Sarah's family. I remember her young voice rising up the canyon wall. I could hear singing from my  back porch. I am holding you all in my thoughts and prayers and wish you peace through this difficult time.

Lauren and I both remember Adam's baby sister when Sarah was an infant and we saw her at Braun Station Elementary. She was such a beautiful baby! We are so sad for your family's loss--our deepest sympathy.

I spent the most time with Sarah as her piano teacher.  I loved teaching her and all the Prestidge kids.  What an amazing family.  Sarah was extremely talented, super eager to learn, and simply...a joy to teach.  She was respectful, intuitive, creative, and she loved music.  

But I might have learned more about Sarah years before I became her piano teacher...during a very trying and difficult time in my own life.  Sarah was just a little girl with her big, cute glasses.   I was a college student bound to a wheelchair.  Sweet Sarah was so concerned about me.  Every time she saw me she would run up to me to give me a stack of pictures she had drawn or colored for me.  She gave them to me with a smile bigger than her glasses.  And she was so sincere about it, even as a young girl.  Her sweet spirit knew that my spirit needed a smile.  There are few children that can understand and show empathy.  Sarah was one of those.  

I wish I could have spent more time with Sarah and watched her grow into the musician she became.  What a beautiful, sweet young woman.  I am honored to have known her and worked with her for a little bit.  What a special soul.  My sincerest condolences to the Prestidge family.  There are no words, but your family is on my mind in my heart.

Scott and I were heartbroken when we found out that Sarah had died.  We have cried a few tears in your behalf.   I have thought a lot about your family these past few days.  Many cherished memories have come into my mind.  I especially want to thank you for your friendship, we treasured it.  You were such examples to us.  I remember the phrase that you had on your wall in Braun Heights on charity as you tried to teach your family t be more Christlike,  I remember the FHE where we competed in the family Olympic's. I remember the fun times on the Ranch, Olivia and Caitlin getting lost and your faithful dog leading them back home.  Caitlin laying face first on the ground laughing while a miniature goat stood on her back eating her hair.  I am grateful for Brad and his calming influence as he mentored us as our bishop. Our family was going through a very hard time and he sustained me. We will forever be blessed by knowing you.  I don't pretend to understand why these things happen to families like yours but I do know that Sarah is okay and happy, it is us that are left behind that feel the sadness.  I do know that our Father in Heaven loves us and will succor us in our time of need I hope he is wrapping his arms around you right now. last memory, I remember tending Sarah when Olivia was born, you had a breast infection and were not feeling well so I took Sarah with me.  We were at the store and your sweet bright eyed girl kept telling the sales clerk and the people in line that she had breasts. I kept telling people that her mommy just had a baby and that is why she so focused on her breasts.  She was such a character!  I watched the video from the funeral, and when the little Sarah pictures were shown I smiled.  Love ya, Elaine

Sarah was an adorable little girl. She grew up into a beautiful, thoughtful, and kind young woman. I loved teaching her in Laurels. She had beautiful insights and a gentle spirit. She worried about me, her teacher. But that shouldn't surprise me because she was always looking out for others. Her smile brought comfort to many. She was sensitive and creative. 

I love you Sarah! I know that the Savior's peace will bless the Prestidge family. I love you all and pray for continued comfort as we move forward missing her.

Brenya and I wish we could have been there this weekend. We fondly remember watching the Prestidge kids when we lived in Helotes. We love you and miss you guys. Little Sarah touched our lives. We're praying for you and know that families are eternal.

Sarah grace, I only met you once and when I did the thing I took away was the bond between you and your sister Olivia. I know that you loved her with all the love an older sister has for her younger sister. As an older sister myself I know how beautiful and sacred this bond is. I can only promise you now to be a sister to Olivia in your absence. I'm grateful for the chance I've had to get to know you through her and your life-long example of charity towards those around you. You are loved and missed greatly.

Sarah, I didn't get to know you very well. My family has been friends with yours forever it seems, but we never lived close by. Whenever I think of you, I still picture you like when we were all kids, little with glasses. You were always so sweet, and happy. So many people loved you, I can tell. We are all better people for knowing you. Love to your family.

I never told you how much you changed my life. I owe it all to you. From the shy, scared Beehive in a new ward to a confident, self sufficient  woman I am today. You never gave up on me. You never stopped reaching out and encouraging me to join the discussions and activities. It doesn't matter that I hadn't seen you in awhile. I still thought of you often and hoped you were doing well, finding your path in life. 
Even in death, you are inspiring people to change their lives and to be better people. You have inspired me and all our friends to not let life pass by without making time for our friends because even though we may feel like we are "too busy", we never really are. There is always time for family and true friends. You showed me that anyone and everyone can be a friend. 
Your death still doesn't seem real. Maybe it's because I know that it is only temporary. That one day, we will all be reunited again as daughters of our Heavenly Father. I know you have already begun His work on the other side, making friends and comforting those who are unsure or scared.

I can't begin to fathom how the family must feel.  Your memories and thoughts on Sarah's beautiful spirit continue to touch and inspire me.  I feel honored to have been a part of such profound tribute to this divine soul.  I want you all to know that Sarah changed my life.  I went from an aimless student pursuing a job simply for security purposes to a Man with purpose chasing after his passions in life.  Sarah did this to me, her candid and unflinchingly touching spirit was one to recognize.  I will love her and cherish our time together forever and always. My dear, sweet Sarah Grace. Words fail me but I want to let you know how much I will miss you. You had such a bright light that all could see. You were one of the first people I met when I moved to San Antonio and you were so nice to me. I remember speaking in Spanish together. You heart was so big and always had room for more people to love. The world is a little darker without you. Love you sweet girl.

When I moved to Texas, Sarah was one of the first to greet me at church and make me feel comfortable. Her smile was so inviting, and she was always so kind to everyone she met, no matter their differences. As we grew up, I watched her and learned from her example. Even after she graduated, I loved hearing about what she was doing and listening to her music--she had one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard. She dealt with trials she faced with such kindness and grace.  I admired her so much and still strive to emulate her thoughtfulness towards others. I love you, and I miss you dearly.

You and your wonderful family has held such a special place in my families heart. It was by God's grace I met you Olivia, and I got to hear about your wonderful family! I have no words I can even say to express how sorry I am. (Sorry just does not seem like it's enough. The world lost a living angel and sorry for you loss just isn't enough) The world lost a bright light, and the world is a sadder place without her in it.. families are forever I learned and loved that lesson you taught me Olivia. So just as you reminded me I remind you families are forever. I know that does not heal your pain in the least, but my family is sending love and prayers to your family. I might not be with you in person, but I am with you in spirit....

Our deepest sympathies to your family. I have the best memories of Sarah from our seminary class. She always had such insightful things to say. It was truly a joy to know her and be her teacher.

My first ever memory of when I interacted with Sarah was when we were in Primary together. I want to say I was 7 and she was 6. I remember from that age how bubbly and outgoing she was from even such a young age. During sharing time she quickly turned around in her seat and told me she had spoken with her mom and said I can come over to her house and play with her. I remember thinking how she was so fun and kind to invite me to play! 
There are so many memories I have of Sarah. Trick or treating and her dressing up as a millionaire in a fur coat :) chasing porcupine down our street, staying up during sleep overs and laughing over silly things, eating breakfast tacos, swimming with dolphins, one of my favorite memories was going to EFY and rooming with her. She imitated an English accent the whole time and no one ever knew she didn't have one. She always was the first to include others and smile. I loved her sweet spirit and her strong testimony she was so willing to share at girls camp and other church activities. She will be missed dearly.

Sarah was such a sweet And amazing young lady! She always made everyone feel included.  Her smile was so bright!  Thank you for your example! Until we meet again!!!!! ❤❤❤

We've known Sarah since she was in grade school. She was a beautiful and precocious young lady with shining blonde hair. Her laugh and playful attitude were contagious. We were in awe of the Prestidge family dynamics - how much they respected and loved one another and how fiercely they protected each other. Sarah grew up to be an amazing young woman with many talents.  Sarah's soul will be in every sunset and sunrise that kisses this earth. She will be forever missed. Our prayers and love go out to her family and friends. May you find peace in knowing she's with our Lord.

Sarah was such a beautiful soul. She was always helping others. Such a very sweet person. To all her family I am so very sorry for your loss.

Praying for peace for your family.  Sarah volunteered in my classroom at Judson Montessori School when she was in 8th grade.  She was a beautiful girl and heaven has truly gained an angel.

We remember her so dearly. We love her and will find her on the other side. We cannot feel nor understand what this is like. They say no one knows the pain of losing a child until you experience it yourself.
