Sandy and I are very sorry to hear to Selvin's passing.  We knew him as a kind man with a plesant sense of humor.  I will miss my conversations with him while he was working on him home.

Words cannot express my sorrow at Selvin's passing. Having known him most of my working career, he was  a friend, a gentleman, and a true professional. Having worked and traveled with him, I will miss his humor, laugh and caring heart.  And most of all, I will miss his embellished stories, many at my expense, but always told with joy.  Karen and Suzanne, I hope you know that he loved you dearly.

I heard of Selvins passing today and wanted to express my condolences. I had the pleasure of getting to know Selvin while working with him at Aerospace Energy as an intern just starting my career. He was able to teach me many things during the year I spent sitting next to him. 

All business I think many would say but once you got to truly know him a friend that would give you the shirt off his back if you were lucky enough to call him a friend. 

I had the pleasure of learning from Selvin about not only work but life. He would tell stories about his childhood, his experiences of working in the family store, life as at was when he was young, and of course we would swap military stories. 

As I sit here writing I find myself with a smile as I remember his laugh, analogies, and of course his jokes. Always busy, a hard worker, honest, quick with a joke and a smile a good friend. Thank you for the memories and advice you will always be remembered.

I would not have gotten the great start I did at work and in San Antonio without you. I will miss your level-headedness and conversely, your stubborness; your keen mind, and your big heart.

Selvin, it was true honor to work with you. RIP. You'll be missed.
