Sharon was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to John and Hiawatha Croley on November 23, 1946. She graduated from Wichita High School South in 1964, and went on to complete two years of college at Wichita State University.
Sharon married Ronald D. Cone on February 15, 1969. During their 44 years of marriage they were blessed with three children and eight grandchildren. She was a homemaker most of her life. After her children were older, she worked in secretarial positions for a life insurance company and a psychiatrist's office, and opened her own secretarial services business before returning to homemaking. She always gave of herself, taking pride in being a wife, mother, and grandma. She enjoyed reading, writing, blogging, gardening, crafting, and spending time with her family and pets.
Sharon was a woman with strong traditional values, deep faith, and a loving and humble spirit. She was baptized into the Body of Christ in 1982, and entered into communion with the Catholic Church during Easter of 2002. She loved the Catholic faith and had a special devotion to the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and the Traditional Latin Mass.
Sharon is preceded in death by her father, John W. Croley.
