
Born in San Antonio on August 27, 1938, our beloved Sheila was a devoted mother, doting grandmother and wonderful friend.
She was preceded in death by her father Claude W. Fowler, step-father Edgar Zimmermann, husband C. William Hall, M.D., step-son Kendal Hall, grandson Jackson Brewer and daughter M'Lis Brewer.
She is survived by her mother Wynonah Zimmermann of San Antonio, her son-in-law Sean Brewer, his wife Monti, their children Raleigh, Ross, Roland and his wife Jennifer and their daughters Madison and Morgan; aunt Vaughni Peacock and her husband, Doug of Odessa TX; step-sons Dan Hall of Shoreline, WA, Greg Hall of Shawnee, KS, Patrick Hall of San Jose, CA, Conan Hall of Auburn, KS and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
Sheila graduated from Jefferson High School, attended Southern Methodist University and graduated from Trinity University in 1962.
She joined the staff of Southwest Research Institute in 1963, retiring as a Senior Communications Specialist in 1994.
Among other assignments, she was long-time editor of the Roadrunner, the SwRI employee newsletter, and Executive Secretary of the Research Recreation Association, planning and organizing employee social activities.
After retirement, she continued to be involved in the Ladies Lunch retirement group and the SwRI retiree reunions. She was largely responsible for planning and organizing her high school class reunions and attended the 55th gathering in September.
Sheila enjoyed traveling, reading, attending the theater, and especially spending time with her two grandsons, of whom she was so proud.
The family buried Sheila in Houston on November 6th beside her daughter and grandson.
