Sheila Elizabeth Taylor, 72, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on February 14, 1949 in Phillipsburg, New Jersey to Rita Murtha and Nelson H. Taylor. Sheila graduated from Lee High School in June of 1966. She worked for the University of Dallas Medical Center for over ten years then, upon moving to San Antonio, worked for the University of Texas Health Science Center for twenty years. She and husband Walter enjoyed ballroom dancing, especially swing dancing. They also enjoyed long distance bicycling, good food and spoiling their pets. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rita and Nelson Taylor; and brother, Mark Taylor. Sheila is survived by her husband, Walter Andrew Kennedy; son, Stefan Gorman; daughter, Rebecca Rockeymoore; twin sister, Kathleen Hall; brother, Brian Taylor; and granddaughters, Kori Farley and Megan Gorman; all of whom she loved dearly. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Meals On Wheels of San Antonio or the San Antonio Food Bank.
