On Sunday November 11, 2018, at 4:38 AM, Shirley Wulfsohn passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness at the age of 81. She was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, on February 22, 1937, to Robert and Pearl Blecher (Levine). She helped many people in her stellar career as a social worker and later as a probation officer. She always exuded the spark of life and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and animal lover. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Her funeral will be Monday, November 12, 3 PM, at Agudas Achim Memorial Gardens. She is survived by her husband, Norman Wulfsohn, her brother, Bruce Blecher, his wife, Nora Blecher, her daughters Janine Wulfsohn and Vicki Wulfsohn, her son-in-law Lee Rubin, and her grandchildren, Jill, Emily and Benjamin Rubin. May her memory be a blessing.
