He is preceded in death by his father, Silvestre Mendoza, mother, Ricarda Negrete Mendoza; wife Ana Maria Mendoza; daughter Maria Teresa Mendoza; son-in-law Richard Martinez. He is survived by his children Rosaura Martinez, Ana Gill (Raymond Jr.) and Nora Miller (Timothy); grandchildren, Sandra Martinez-Ruiz, Richard Martinez Jr., Samantha Ann Torres, Eshelle Chavez, Brittany Gill, Timothy Wayne Miller II; great grandchildren: Steven, Samuel, Marc, Dominic, Marcus, Madilyn, Max, Jason, Sofia, David, Emilie, Khai and Lydia; great grandson, Julius Feliciano; also, numerous brothers and sisters.

Mr. Silvestre Mendoza retired from SAWS after 30years, He was a equipment operator.

Dad's hobbies were dancing with MOM and going to the casinos.

He was a man of many hats and he loved his Stacy Adams shoes.

The Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 5:00 p.m.to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Procession will depart from the funeral home on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 1204 Castroville Rd San Antonio, TX 78237. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II,746 Castroville Rd San Antonio, TX 78237
