Siria Susana Torralva, affectionately known as Susy, passed away on October 29, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on January 3, 1965, in Ciudad Acuña, Coahuila, Mexico.
Susy was a beacon of love and selflessness, always placing the needs of others before her own. A woman of unwavering faith, Susy lived her life as a testament to the love and grace of God. Her deep and abiding relationship with Jesus Christ was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her in every season and circumstance. Through the joys and trials, she exemplified a strength that came not from the world, but from her firm trust in God's promises. Her unwavering commitment to her faith was evident in the way she was constant in prayer and the way she prioritized Sundays as the day for church where she found great solace and strength. Susy's devotion to her daughter Francia, son Carlos, and family was unparalleled, and she cherished every moment spent in their company. Her home was a welcoming haven where memories were made, and laughter was shared.
Susy is survived by a loving family who will carry on her legacy of love and kindness. Her mother, Irene Torralva, instilled in her the values that she lived by every day. She was a cherished mother to her daughter, Francia, and her son, Carlos Narro, who will forever hold her in their hearts. Her son-in-law Joseph Reyna, and granddaughter Noemi Reyna, will miss her guidance and warmth. Susy also leaves behind her siblings, Jose Ricardo, Laura Urbano, Rosa Basse, Jose Maria, and Guillermo Torralva, each of whom shared a special bond with her that will endure through time.
Susy’s absence here on Earth will be deeply felt by all who knew her, yet we can find joy in knowing her victory was secured through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Her example of love, her commitment to God and her faith, and her nurturing nature for family will never be forgotten.
