Soledad Martinez de Gonzalez

Soledad Martinez de Gonzalez, age 96, passed away October 27, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Matehuala San Luis Potosi, Mexico on March 30, 1923 to Mariano C. Martinez and Paula Rebolloso de Martinez. She was preceded in death by her husband, Venancio Gonzalez; daughter and son-in-law, Leonor and Robert Villavicencio; son and daughter-in-law, Venancio and Rosario Gonzalez; son-in-law, Esteban Martinez. She is survived by her children, Maria Luisa Martinez, Maria Victoria Mier and her husband Arturo, Angelica Garcia and her husband Alex, Pilar Gonzales and her husband Jose, Mercedes Moreno and her husband Jose, and Jose Manuel Gonzalez; 29 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Also preceded in death were 9 of Soledad's siblings. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera road, San Antonio, Texas 78238 on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. The funeral procession will depart Sunset Northwest Funeral Home at 9:30 A.M. Thursday, November 7, 2019 for a 10:00 A.M. mass at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 758 W. Ramsey Avenue San Antonio, Texas 78216 with services concluding at the church.
