I thoroughly enjoyed working with Steve during my 10yrs at Sunrise Medical. His love of his family, commitment to his job, and sense of humor were infectious. My deepest sympathies to Bev, Aaron, Allison and family in their loss.

To my dear brother Steven, I will miss you greatly. I know that you will always be not too far away from me. I know, I will always feel your presence around me. I will remember your beautiful smile, your laughter and the passion you had for your music which was undeniable especially when you would sing these songs; "Mexico" by Firefall, "Jesus is Just Alright", by the Doobie Brothers, and "In The Cooler" by Steve Keip and so many more. 
I was blessed to have been able to be with you in San Antonio on the day that The Lord wanted you with him.

I do look forward to meeting up with you again. There is an emptiness in the world now that you have gone to Heaven.

I grew up with Steve and went to St. Mark's School. My brother Bob is close friends with Greg. 
I was so saddened with the news of Steve. He always put a smile on my face in our youth. He was a real guy in my eyes and will miss him. 
I do come to TR. in the summer and maybe I could come see some of you to give us guys a hug. I just had to put in alittle of my memories of Steve.

I am so sorry for your loss and my prayers are with all of the family.

Steve Keip was one of the Great LSP's. I had the good fortune to meet Steve when he came back to College to finish his degree in Industrial Technology...Upon his return he was a bit more focused and wiser and he demolished all of his classes with ease. So, hats off to Steve for having the Wisdom to come back to school to finish strong. It's not easy doing that when all your really close friends have graduated and moved on. It takes alot of courage. He really wasn't alone when he came back and accomnplished that feat--all his friends knew he was there and some came back to visit and support him through this time. His Wife was the most important part of this process. In reality she was the catalyst that drove him....The younger actives at the Fraternity benefited from Steve's return to School and it was alot of fun getting to meet Steve and "his older LSP Brothers. We knew these Guys were legendary and held a great deal of respect and reverence for them....So, his presence affected many lives and his aura and wisdom rubbed off on the younger LSP's for many years to come.......I can remember that a massive crime spree occured in Platteville shortly after Steve showed up!!?&?! No, of course that didn't happen, but having fun and telling great stories was always a part of every great LSP.......And, it goes without saying, Steve Keip was one of the Greatest LSP's in the past 50 years. Steve was a great neighbor! He was fun loving, generous, funny, talented, and never boring. He loved having friends and family at his home sharing the things that made him happy, food, drink, football, cards, jokes, and of course music. I have not seen Steve since our high school days. We had some good memories from that era. I lived in Bandera TX near San Antonio for many years and if I only knew Steve lived in SA I would have looked him up. My thoughts and best wishes go out to his family. Mick Timm.

I knew Steve from when we both lived in Two Rivers, WI. He was as fine a gentleman as you will ever meet; a true joy to be around. His immense talent and love of music were always inspiring. RIP, friend; we'll jam together in the great gig in the sky.

I am very sad that I was never able to talk and laugh with Steve after our highschool years.We had many fun times. It appears that throughout the years he touched the lives of many others with his kindness and zest for life. My deepest sympathies to Steve's family and friends. He will be missed.

I will always remember Steve with his music. It was always with him. Whether we were at a family get together, holiday party, wedding, or just hanging out with family and friends he was playing his guitar, singing or humming! I loved when he and my daughter sang together at Christmas. He was so easy going and happy to help and encourage anyone but wasn't afraid to tell you how it was. I'm sure going to miss him.

Mr. Keip was such a loving and warm man! My time spent at the Keip home was warm and some of my best high school memories. Lot's of laughter and music. He will be dearly missed!
