"Her children arise and call her blessed. Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all." -Proverbs 31:28,29
Susan was born in San Antonio on December 2, 1923 to Robert and Louise Callans Cherry and passed away on November 26, 2011.
She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and attended The University of Texas, where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma.
She was preceded in death by her husbands Con Mims, Jr. and Frank Blair, Jr. "Popo" and her sister Louise Cherry Shannon.
"Momo", as she was known to all who met her, was adored and cherished by her children: Con Mims III (Lynn), Weezie Mims Chesney (Mac) and Cherry Blair Proctor; Grandchildren: Debbi Chesney, Sandra Mims, Bobby Chesney (Heather), Calley Mims Farnsworth; Great-Grandchildren: Jared Moeller, Chandler and Cale Farnsworth, and Riley, Kate and Alice Chesney.
Momo never missed an opportunity to put others first or to say I love you. At the end of every day, she was our biggest fan.
We would like to offer our heartfelt gratitude for the support and love given to Momo by her other daughter, Maelynne Pease and son, Curtis as well as caregivers Bibi and Queen.
