Suzanne Stipe Elder

Suzanne Stipe Elder was a loving wife, beloved mother, and a fantastic friend. She brought joy, love and laughter to all she met through her ferocious spirit and caring nature. Born on January 5, 1947 in Cleburne, Texas, she went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on July 27, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her parents, William Jack and Hallie Maye Stipe and her brother, Delmar Stipe. Suzanne is survived by her spouse of 46 years, Jim Elder; her four children, Cory and his wife, Wendy Elder of Austin, Texas, Christopher Tate Elder of San Antonio, Texas, Zach and his wife, Vanessa Elder of New Braunfels, Texas, and Tessa Elder of San Antonio, Texas. She also has two grandchildren, Landon and Owen Elder, who meant the world to her. In addition, she has a loving extended family and numerous friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Porter Loring North.
