Tamara Lowry

Tamara was born August 5, 1966 in San Antonio, Texas to Earl and Sherry Lowry.

She is survived by her husband, Peter Joseph Crepeau, and by her mother, Sherry Lowry, and by her sisters, Twila and Tiffany, as well as many other relatives.

Tamara was a loving, giving wife, daughter, and sister.

She was an energetic, exuberant person who looked for the bright, true, and beautiful in every circumstance.

She chose to see the best in every person she met.

Tamara loved to live.

She did good in the world purely for the benefit of someone in need, and not for acknowledgment.

The many acts of kindness and charity Tamara did were not known by even her close family, until after her passing.

Despite her busy schedule, she consistently made the sacrifice of her time and money to turn her good intentions into concrete actions for the benefit of others.

Whether Tamara was prosperous or going through a time when she had very little, she still gave.

Tamara grew up in a family that loved the outdoors.

Some of her favorite activities were biking, hiking, and swimming.

She especially enjoyed swimming in the waves of the open gulf and in the rivers of Texas.

Tamara studied dance from a very young age and was outstanding in acrobatics.

She was a strong and accomplished gymnast, especially in floor, vault, and beam competition, one year placing ninth in State on vault.

Tamara had many gifts and talents.

She was a wonderful cook and she loved to garden.

She had a eye for design, and could envision instantly how to transform a space.

Tamara was the driving force in many remodeling projects with her family, from the design phase to actually doing much of the physical rebuild with her own two hands.

Tamara had a life-long love of animals, and she had a natural way with them.

All of the animals she and her husband provided excellent care for were rescued.

As she was growing up all of the animals she and her family raised were orphaned animals.

Whether people or animals, Tamara had a soft kind heart for all, and she did her best in every situation to help where she could.

“I shall pass through this world but once. Any good, therefore, that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.”
