Dr. Theodore Bedard, age 63, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 3, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas. Theodore was born on October 7, 1958, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to parents, William and Theodora Bedard but grew up in Dallas, Texas. Theodore was a board-certified Rheumatologist with his own private practice for 26 years. Prior to completing his fellowship in Rheumatology, he was an Emergency Room Physician. He was preceded in death by parents, Theodora Leuders Bedard and William Lawrence Bedard. Theodore is survived by his wife, Melissa Hornbarger Bedard; brother, William Lawrence Bedard II and Lorna, Aunt and Uncle, Tom, and Betty Jo Leuders; cousins, Amy Jo Dunsmore and Tommy Leuders, and his beloved French Mastiff, Atticus Finch and French Bulldog, Margaux.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rheumatology Research Foundation.
A private Celebration of Life will be held later this spring.
