'My deepest sympathy!! He was my doctor for years and in June of 2011 saved my life at 34 years of age, I will never forget his deep understanding and bedside manner. He can never be replaced and it is a giant loss to the medical community that he is gone. I am now eight years out this June and this man still enters my thoughts frequently as the man who saved my life. I am so sorry for your loss.'

'I had just googled Dr Burzlaff to get the phone number to his office and was so shocked and saddened to hear he had passed away. He was such a kind loving man and had a heart of gold not only for my husband and myself but also one of my dearest friends who is also no longer with us, Lavon Major. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and all that knew him.'

'God most definetly sent Dr Burzlaff as an angel to touch and teach (as he loved to do) those that have been blessed to know him. Every individual that knew him can sing nothing but praises about the extremely high energy and massive loving heart he shared every day without judgement and only with positivity. There is no doubt in my mind that he continues to spread his contagious laughter and love in his place of devine happiness. Nobody was allowed to be down in his presence. He definetly make sure the mood was lightened. One particular memory that always stuck was one of the employees many years ago made some all natural doggie biscuits with cheese that smelt awesome. Not knowing Dr Burzlaff picked one up ate it and really enjoyed it. When he found out he just smiled really big, laughed and said it was still really good. Always honest and regardless of the situation he found the strength and heart to make it alright. We are all emotionally stricken that we have lost such a wonderful angel but just remember God places angels in our lives at the right times and for the right reasons. I thank God for blessing me with the beauty of one of his very own. I pray peace, love and blessing be showered on his family, friends and all that have been touched by his spirit. Dr Burzlaff....your spirit lives on and will not be forgotten. Until we all see each other again............much respect and love.'

' My mother recently had hip surgery and today we found out that Dr. Burzlaff passed away. My mother and I first saw Dr. Burzlaff 13 years ago after her 2 bout with cancer. He always cheered my mom up. My mom and Dr. Burzlaff had a close relationship whether it was his joking about his weight or my mom giving vegetables from her garden. He always made light of the situation. We remember when he put out his wedding album in the old office to share personal moments of Tammy and him with all of his patients. Dr. Burzlaff was someone special and will be affectionately missed by our family. Tammy, we are very sorry for your loss. We will pray for your family in this difficult time. 'I met Thilo in 1997 when he rented my house in Monte Vista......he was really a honest man who wanted to go fishing at Calevaras Lake and fish for cat fish.......really a sincere man who believed in administering to the sick . I did hear of a story of an uninsured patient who was desperate who Thilo forgave his bill to make sure he was ok. Thilo did not bill this man because of his situation....
