Thomas D. Hiltpold

Thomas D. Hiltpold, age 65, went home to be with the Lord our God to join family and friends on November 7, 2014. Tom was born on July 2, 1949 to the proud parents of Charles & Bessie Hiltpold in San Antonio, TX and graduated from Burbank High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Marines Corps and later worked at the Patrician Movement for many years. He retired from the San Antonio Park Police Department. He ranched in La Vernia, TX and later farmed and ranched in Oklahoma. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Charles Hiltpold. Tom is survived by his mom, Bessie Hiltpold, brother, Richard Hiltpold & his wife Carol; sister, Terry Lee & her husband Darwin; nieces, Tracy Holzmann, Jenny Heiner, Sara Lee Redding and Abby Lee; great nephews & nieces, Seth, Ryder, Hunter, Sophia Holzmann, Wesley & Saide Heiner, Joelee & Lynlee Redding.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 1314 Fair Ave, San Antonio, TX 78223. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
