Thomas Philip Kurtz, age 54, died Monday, September 29, 2014. He was born in Harlingen, TX but moved to San Antonio, TX at a young age and remained there his entire life.
He graduated from Alamo Heights HS and Southwestern University (Georgetown, TX). He was a CPA and worked in the healthcare and retail industries. He enjoyed golf, poker and spending time with his girls. His latest passion was fostering puppies for Alamo Rescue Friends.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Paul G. Kurtz and is survived by his wife, Rebecca (Becky) Kurtz; daughters; Jennifer Kurtz (Brooklyn, NY), McKenzie Kurtz (Klamath Falls, OR), Adelaide Kurtz (San Antonio, TX) and Jessica Rivas (Houston, TX); his mother, Virginia (Ginny) Dowdy; father, Thomas A. Kurtz and his wife, Rev. Barbara N. Kurtz; brother, Craig Kurtz and his wife Ann; sisters, Lana Kurtz and Beth Kurtz; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
