He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Mary Welch; and brother, Brian Welch.
He is survived by his wife, Laurel Welch; daughter, Lindsay; son, Christopher; brother, Phillip Welch; nephews, Aaron Welch, Mike Welch, Joshua Welch and Hayden Gish; nieces, Amber Welch, Alexis Welch, Madison Gish and Sarah Kingsley; and numerous other relatives.
