

Tom R. Callahan (T.C.) was born in Kingsland, TX on June 13, 1921 to Carl and Hallie (Bailey) Callahan and entered eternal life on November 14, 2013 in San Antonio, TX. Tom served honorably in the Air Force during WWII, as a B-17 pilot, flying 30 missions. He finished his military service in the Air National Guard, where he retired as a Major. He was a local home builder for 35 years. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Melvin and Walter Callahan; and his sister, Grace Payton. Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Eileen; Children, Trudy Seelig (Don), Jeff Callahan (Janice), Jill Matula (Larry), and Bart Callahan. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 At St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church, with visitation at 10:00am and a rosary recited at 10:30am. Interment will be private.
