

Guadalupe served his country in Korea as an Army MASH Field Medic and in the United States Air Force during Vietnam. He retired from the USAF after 23 years of service. Following his military career, Guadalupe became a dedicated high school teacher at San Benito High School. He enjoyed traveling and making memories with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents. Guadalupe is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Alicia Rivera; children, Alma Harness, Myrna Diaz and husband, Jose Luis, Linda Mlodzianowski and husband, Joseph, Yvonne "Bonnie" Rivera, Nelly Cooper and husband, 1SG Gary Cooper; grandchildren, Dr. Cayce Harness-Brumley and husband, Reagan, BM2 Sean Mikael Diaz and wife, MA1 Holly, Christopher Harness, Michael Anthony Hernandez, Amanda Hernandez, Lauren Mlodzianowski, Hospital Corpsman Mitchell Diaz and Kevin Cooper, Merelle "Merrie" Cooper, Joanne Harness Seiler; great grandchildren, Mia Diaz, Scarlett Brumley, Sara Seiler; and sister, Esther Ramirez.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 4, 2014, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
