

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Victoria Karickhoff, who passed away peacefully on Friday June 13, 2025 at the age of 75. She was born in Germany to parents, Leonard Stockus and Vera O'Brien.
Victoria was a woman of warmth, creativity, and quiet strength. She had a deep love for arts and crafts and spent countless joyful hours crocheting beautiful pieces that her family will treasure forever. Her hands were rarely still—always creating, always giving. In her younger years, she was an avid bowler, forming lifelong friendships at the lanes and bringing her signature spirit and sense of fun to every game. Whether she was threading a needle or rolling a strike, she did it with love and purpose. She was the heart of our family—offering wisdom, comfort, and unconditional support. Her legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, each of whom carry a piece of her gentle soul and boundless kindness.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Karickhoff, parents, Leonard and Vera Stockus.
Victoria is survived by he daughter, Heidi Rodriguez, husband Pete Rodriguez, grandchildren, Pete Jr., Lilyrose, Angel, Alejandro, Elijah, Chaim, Simcha, Tzion Judah, Esperanza, Yitzhak, Jazmine, great grandchildren, Sofia, Orion, brother, Anthony Stockus, nephews, Sean, Brian, and LeeCharles.
A visitation for Victoria will be held Sunday, June 22, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, San Antonio, TX 78211 with a prayer service at 7:00 PM. Military honors will be conducted Monday June 23, 2025 at 9:15 AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
