Virginia Melchor passed away and went home to Jesus, January 26th, 2022. She was born on February 28, 1947, in San Antonio, Texas. She was raised and preceded by her grandmother, Francisca Solis. She will be missed by her husband, Ray Melchor; Children, Raymond Strickland, Kathy Lawson, and Raeanna Orozco and son in law Daniel Orozco. Grandchildren, Kevin Deleon, Kaitlin Lawson, Giovanni Strickland, Gabrielle Lawson, Lilana Orozco, and Tesla Orozco.
Virginia was a beloved mother. She was kind, beautiful, unselfish, and loved dancing to her music. She touched so many people’s lives and will be missed by many. Her faith in Jesus, Christ was strong and is now resting with our Lord Jesus Christ. Heaven has truly gained an angel.
A visitation will be held for Virginia on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at 5pm, followed by a Prayer Service at 6pm at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78238.
Prayer Service will be followed by a serenade from mariachis and open after to share memories.
