A mother, a sister and grandmother who truly cared with all her heart and soul. A teacher who always put her students first. Coming from a family of teachers, even after retiring she still retained the pride and respect of that noble profession. Extremely creative, as a child she played the piano, as an adult she painted, and as Mom, an amazing cook. For every season Marie made a homemade wreath that would adorn her front door.
Instilling the love of nature and the outdoors in her children, they still go camping and hiking, but now with their children.
She was proceeded in death by her Mother and Father and sadly by her son Stephen. She is survived by her sister Joan, her son Ted and his daughter Tessa, her son Ric and his son Lennon and her daughter-in-law Alyssa and her children Nathan and Benjamin.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 15th at 10:30 a.m. at St. George Maronite Catholic Church, 6070 Babcock Rd., with recitation of the Rosary at 11:00 a.m. and Mass at 11:30 a.m. This will be followed by a mercy meal prepared by the Ladies Altar Society.
According to our Mother's wishes, she will be interred at St. John's Cemetery in New York.
