Wanda A. Abshier

Wanda will be remembered for always having a positive and pleasant attitude, and especially for the unconditional and deep love she had for her family. She loved children, and recently volunteered at the Arlon Seay Intermediate School in Spring Branch, Texas, in their library.

She was an avid reader, a great bridge player and enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas, which now won't be quite so bright without her. Wanda was a member of the Forest Waters Bridge Club and Bulverde Senior Citizen's Center.

She was preceded in death by, her parents; husband, Thomas C. Abshier; brother, Paul Knight. Wanda is survived by children, Ann Graham and husband, Robert, Buddy Abshier and wife, Vickie, Bill Abshier and wife, Lisa, John Abshier and wife, Carolyn, Francie Pope and husband, Cooper; sister, Francie Davis and husband, Norman; grandchildren, Chip and wife, Shena, Chris, Jennifer and husband, Josh, Nick, Brian, Melissa, Kristen and Ryan; great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Brennan; several nieces and nephews.
