Wanda Doris Frederick, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, was called home by the Lord on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at the age of 85. She was born April 7, 1928 to Asa Lampman and Ollie (Dodd) Lampman in Brownwood, TX. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Maj. James M. Frederick for 53 years until his passing in 1996. She was also preceded in death by her beloved son, James Michael Frederick. She is survived by her sons, Gary M. Frederick and his wife Dorinda, Steven M. Frederick, John M. Frederick, and Kevin M. Frederick; grandchildren, Gary Wayne Frederick, Cynthia Michelle Frederick, Kelly Stratton, David Frederick, Georgianne Frederick and Devin Myers; great-grandchildren, Johnathan Frederick, Hunter Bailey Martinez, Shelby Noel Martinez and Phoenix Myers. Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 3, 2013 at 9:00am at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel, 1701 Austin Highway, with John Harp officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
