

Warren Edward Clare (August 19, 1936 - September 19, 2021) Warren Edward Clare passed peacefully in San Antonio, TX on Sunday, September 19 at his home. He was born August 19, 1936 in Wellsville, Missouri to Ben and Pearl Clare. Growing up in central Missouri, Warren met the love of his life, Mary Ann Bremerkamp, and soon enlisted in the United States Air Force. A 20+ career took him around the world as an avionics technician, with two tours to Vietnam, and earning citations and awards for his hard work and dedication. Over their 55 year marriage, Warren & Mary Ann had a daughter & son, and adopted an Inuit child.
Warren spent another 20+ years in Wichita, KS as an electrical planner at Boeing, and for a stint at Beechcraft. Retirement brought about many of his interests like fishing & hunting, besides volunteering at El Dorado State Prison in outreach ministry, and taking Theology classes at Butler County Community College.
Resettling to Omaha, and eventually San Antonio, Warren worked with the disabled at Victorious Missionaries, where after he lost his first wife, met and married Susan Krantz.
Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Ben & Pearl Clare, wives Mary Ann and Susan, and brother Vernie Clare. Survivors include his sister Robin Young, of St. Louis; daughter Sarah Clare, of Blackwell, OK; sons and daughters-in-law Frederick & Liz Clare, of Inver Grove Heights, MN, and John & Lacy Clare, of Swansea, IL; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass was held Friday, October 8th at 3pm at St. Francis of Assisi in San Antonio, TX; and a burial service was on Wednesday, October 21st at 1pm at Ascension Cemetery in Bel Aire, KS.
