
He married Anna Marie Schrag on April 18, 1943, just after he joined the Marine Corps where he served in Okinawa during WWII. After completing his time of service, they moved to Texas. They remained in San Antonio for the remainder of his life. Bud was well known in the "Tire" community where he sold and serviced businesses for many years.
He ultimately worked for and retired from HEB where he serviced all the trucks that came through the Distribution Center. Bud received a letter of commendation signed by the hand of Charles H. Butt. Bud died at the age of 92. He was a long time and very active member of Hope Lutheran Church.
Bud is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Anna M. Rennecker; his daughter, Jeanne M. Rennecker-Faulk and son-in-law, Randall D. Faulk. He also has two surviving brothers, Richard G. Rennecker from Canton, Ohio, and J. Warren Rennecker form Columbus, Ohio.
