William Quintana, Jr.

William Quintana Jr, born June 3, 1928, went to be with the Lord on September 2, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Sr. and Refugio Quintana, brother Robert Quintana and loving wife Norma Quintana. He is survived by children Mark Quintana and Jennifer Quintana Sargent; step-children Ervey Valle, Jr., Roseann Valle (Michael) Davis and Gerard (Veronica) Valle; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Bill served in the U.S. Army and received the Army of Occupation Medal (Germany). Bill worked at the Defense Mapping Agency at Fort Sam Houston for 30-years before enjoying retirement. During retirement he and his wife Norma enjoyed traveling, dancing, going out to dinner, and spending time with friends and family. Bill had a gentle heart, great sense of humor, and always had a complement to give. He will be missed.Visitation will be held Monday, September 7, 2015 from 5 PM - 9 PM with a Rosary at 7 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd., San Antonio. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 10 AM at Holy Name Catholic Church, 3814 Nash, San Antonio. Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
