

William Carson Sandlin was born in Lexington, KY, to Eli and America Sandlin on 6/23/1941. He went to school in Lexington, KY. He married Suzanne Stephanie Collette on August 21, 1971 in Central Falls, RI. He worked as a Motor Vehicle Services Driver for the United States Postal Service for 27 years. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force and was awarded the Republic of Vietnam Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and the Antarctica Service Medal. He received an Honorable Discharge from 8 years of service with the U.S. Navy and an Honorable Discharge from 12 years of service with the U.S. Air Force.
William Carson Sandlin is preceded in death by Eli Sandlin, Sr., America Sandlin, Floyd Sandlin, Johnny Sandlin, Velma Sapp-Sandlin, Jean Brown-Sandlin, Eli Sandlin, Jr., and Larry “Bobby” Sandlin.
William Carson Sandlin is survived by Suzanne Stephanie Sandlin, Brad Carson Sandlin, and Brent Andrew Sandlin.
